Why it was built
Ever Ace belongs to the generation of container ships approaching 24,000 TEU. ECT recorded its arrival at Rotterdam on 4 September 2021 with a nominal 23,992 TEU capacity. It illustrates how the record race shifted toward packing and operating more slots within a broadly similar maximum hull length.
A voyage with documented port calls
The 2021 maiden-voyage programme included Tanjung Pelepas in Malaysia and the ECT Delta terminal in Rotterdam. The Malaysian terminal’s parent company describes the call as part of the ship’s first voyage through Southeast Asia. Together these sources establish historical places on an international service, without pretending to reconstruct every leg of the journey.

Capacity versus cargo actually carried
A nominal capacity describes available container slots expressed in twenty-foot equivalents. It does not mean that every sailing carries that number of loaded boxes. Draft, cargo weight distribution, port restrictions and commercial demand all matter. The directory’s dimensions are specifications, while the tracking dashboard only presents positions when matching reports are received.
